We have new staff members in the hallway and over the past few weeks we have been introducing the agricultural economists. Today it is Mrs Wilmé van Heerden of the Risk Management programme’s turn on the blog.
Wilmé holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the NWU’s Vaal Triangle Campus, where her dissertation focused on the evaluation of US and European hedge funds and associated international markets by means of a risk-performance measure approach. She was also employed as a part-time lecturer in Risk Management at the Vaal Campus. Currently she teaches enterprise risk, corporate governance and investment management to 2nd years and economics to 1st year students. Her research interests fall in the areas of corporate governance and portfolio management.
